As this is always been overhead for users to understand how to handle scrap, surplus, re-processed and overdyed process which is explained below.
Explanation
From the start, whenever a product reached for dyeing, it will have to be registered in lot register, after the registration, it will go for dyeing and will be issued against only one dye slip and will be loaded in the machine then the further items will also be load in the machine. After the dyeing process is completed unload the lot and send it to the lot checking and then there are two options -
- QC Enabled:- This should be selected if the user wants to go for the quality control check(this is advised to do so for better results) and further process will be based on the results of QC.
- QC Disabled:- This should be selected if and only if QC has to be skipped(This is not advised to do so).
In the QC stage, there are some quality standards which a lot must follow for further processing if any lot fail in following those standards then that lot will be sent for reprocessing under internal reprocessing and then again it will be loaded in machine against and this reprocess will be undertaken with new dye slip which have to be issued for reprocessing and the same process will be applied. If QC is skipped and the lot is sent directly to packing then that lot is packed and sent to dispatch, also the part of the lot which is under surplus, over dyed or scrap will be sent to the greige store for maintaining stock and there it will be further maintained. Also, this greige store will be responsible for providing lots which have to be dispatched without any process then that lot will come directly for dispatch and it will be dispatched to the client. This dispatch advice can also be accessed directly there is any lot which has to be directly dispatched to the client without going through QC and packing list then that lot will be directly dispatched by this process.
